Marisa Poulos is a senior associate and has experience in intellectual property and business litigation. Marisa represents companies, individuals and medical professionals in a wide variety of areas including contract disputes, business torts, wage and hour disputes, unfair competition, breach of warranty and the prosecution of trademark applications. Additionally, Marisa is involved in intellectual property litigation including infringement, contract disputes and ownership disputes. Marisa has extensive experience in all areas of litigation and has tried cases in Orange County and San Diego Superior Courts. She practices in both state and federal courts.
Marisa received her J.D. from Western State University, College of Law in 1998. During law school she was a certified law clerk with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office for approximately two years. She achieved her B.A. from the University of Arizona in 1994 with a major in political science and minor in French. While in college, Marisa was an intern with the Pima County Attorney’s Office for two years and worked with senior trial counsel and law enforcement to prepare high profile homicide cases for trial.
Marisa is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court in the Central and Southern Districts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
